External Panasonic Aquarea LT Monoblock Heat Pump Unit WH-WDG05LE5 | "Generation L" | 5.0 kW | 5.0 kW

With Aquarea heat pumps, you can save up to 80% on energy. Aquarea harnesses the thermal energy from ambient air as a renewable and free energy source to heat or cool buildings and produce hot water for sanitary purposes.

It's a cutting-edge low-energy consumption system for heating, cooling, and domestic water preparation that achieves high performance even at low outdoor temperatures.

The new "Aquarea L" series was specially designed using the industry-leading natural refrigerant R290.

It's an excellent solution for retrofitting existing buildings requiring high water temperatures or for innovation leaders who consciously choose state-of-the-art heat pumps with a natural refrigerant.

Harmonious design, discreet appearance.

Both external and internal units blend harmoniously into the surroundings and modern architectural styles, creating a cozy atmosphere for your family. To avoid noise disturbance in densely populated areas, the compressor, the primary source of noise, is mounted on a specially designed vibration damping device.

All new-generation models are dark gray with a new innovative design suitable for any setting.

How does the R290 refrigerant work in heat pumps?

R290 (propane) is used as a refrigerant in heat pumps to absorb heat from ambient air, earth, or water and transfer it through a closed cycle due to evaporation and condensation.

The heat pump uses the physical processes of refrigerant evaporation and condensation to capture heat from the surroundings and convert it into usable thermal energy for heating or hot water preparation. The main parts of the heat pump are the evaporator, compressor, condenser, and expansion valve.

The evaporator captures heat from ambient air, earth, or water by passing the refrigerant through tubes. At this point, the refrigerant evaporates and absorbs heat from the surroundings.

The compressor increases the pressure and temperature of the evaporating refrigerant and pumps it into the condenser.

In the condenser, the refrigerant releases its thermal energy and condenses into a liquid state. This thermal energy is used to power the heating system or heat water.

Expansion valve:

The expansion valve reduces the pressure of the liquid refrigerant and directs it back into the evaporator to begin the cycle anew.

This cycle continues until the desired room temperature or hot water quantity is achieved. R290 as a refrigerant in this process is especially efficient and environmentally friendly, as it has high thermal capacity and a low global warming potential (GWP) and ozone depletion potential (ODP).

Internal Panasonic Aquarea LT Hydromodule WH-ADC0509L6E5AN | 185 liters | 6.0 kW heating element | WiFi | Additional electrode

Due to its small size (598 x 600 mm), the new compact hydromodules can seamlessly line up with other household appliances such as refrigerators or washing machines.

And the low height also saves space when installing a controlled room ventilation system (CRVS).

The same applies to the internal control unit, which can easily be mounted on the wall.

Panasonic has a unique soldering technology solution that reduces hydraulic pressures and ensures maximum comfort when using this system.

This avoids the use of open-type vessels, which typically take up a lot of space and are less aesthetic.

The unique combination of a 185-liter tank and heat pump allows heat storage pumps to operate more efficiently and economically. A distinctive feature of these models' tanks is their energy source connection, allowing various energy sources to be used according to needs and conditions, as well as using an external source as an additional energy source.

Aquarea is a comprehensive and efficient system for heating, cooling, and domestic water preparation, allowing savings of up to 80% on energy costs. It's an ideal solution that meets the latest energy efficiency and environmental standards and lets you enjoy warmth and comfort without compromise.
